About

The Vision

Go Underwater exists because divers create incredible value every time they enter the water — and most of it disappears the moment they surface. Photos sit on hard drives. Species sightings go unrecorded. Footage that could fund marine research stays buried in camera rolls.

We're building a platform that captures all of it. Every dive logged. Every species photographed. Every observation geotagged and timestamped. And we're making it fun — because gamification is how you get a million divers to build the world's most comprehensive marine biodiversity database without even trying.

The Builder

I'm Anders — a developer and diver from Norway. I'm moving to Indonesia to build Go Underwater full-time, surrounded by some of the most biodiverse marine environments on earth. Every dive is a product test. Every photo is a feature validation.

The plan is simple: raise enough through the Founding Diver campaign to fund 12-18 months of development. Build the platform. Ship it. Let the ocean do the rest.

Why It Matters

The ocean covers 71% of the planet, but we've mapped more of Mars than the seafloor. Marine biodiversity data is sparse, expensive to collect, and locked behind institutional paywalls. Go Underwater flips this: millions of divers become citizen scientists, and the data flows freely to researchers who need it.

Conservation wins when people care. People care when they're engaged. They engage when it's fun. That's the loop.
